Daniel Labell is the president and owner of Westfalia Technologies, Inc., a leader in innovative automated storage solutions. Since founding the company in 1992, Dan has driven Westfalia’s growth, propelling it to the forefront of warehouse automation in the United States and expanding into automated parking systems. With over 200 employees, Westfalia excels in delivering high-quality, cutting-edge technology and software.
An active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Dan is dedicated to overseeing continuous improvement, R&D efforts, and project risk mitigation strategies in automated material handling and parking solutions.
Caio Seabra is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Westfalia Technologies, Inc. Joining Westfalia in 2008, Caio has provided leadership to Operations, Finance, and Human Resources while shaping the company’s strategies. Growing up in Brazil, Caio earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidade de São Paulo and began his career as an Investment Analyst. Transferred to the United States in 2006 by his previous employer, GEA, Caio now champions operational excellence and financial planning at Westfalia. An avid rugby fan and sailing enthusiast, Caio brings a diverse and dynamic perspective to the team.
Erlan Rice is the Vice President of Control Systems and Support at Westfalia Technologies, Inc. Joining the company in September 2023, Erlan brings 40 years of experience in management solutions, including 25 years of developing multi-disciplinary teams globally. At Westfalia, he focuses on enhancing Controls Engineering, Solutions Delivery, and Systems Support to deliver top-notch automation solutions for Fortune 500 clients. Outside of work, Erlan enjoys being a private pilot and an avid motorcyclist, often exploring the scenic Black Hills of South Dakota near Mount Rushmore.
Ian Todd is the Executive VP of Automated Parking at Westfalia Technologies, Inc. With over 20 years of experience in the APS industry across Europe and the US, Ian has held roles in product development, project management, marketing, business development, and executive leadership. His expertise includes managing integrated engineering projects and collaborating with leading developers, construction companies, and architects to help solve their parking issues and maximize their projects’ ROI. Ian holds a BE in Naval Architecture and an MS in Engineering Project Management.
Jeff Lyijynen is the Vice President of Project Operations at Westfalia Technologies, Inc. Joining the company in 2015, Jeff has previously served as Senior Project Manager and Director of Project Management. He studied at the University of Michigan and brings over 25 years of experience in operations and project management, implementing automated manufacturing systems across various industries. Before Westfalia, Jeff held positions as Director of Operations for Grenzebach Americas, Program Manager for KUKA Systems NA, and New Model Launch Manager for Chrysler Corporation. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
Alex Eisenhart is the Director of Software and Business Solutions at Westfalia Technologies, Inc., where he plays a pivotal role in steering the company’s strategic direction through innovative software solutions. Since joining Westfalia in 2007, Alex has risen through the ranks from Senior Software Developer to Solutions Architect. He now leads dynamic teams dedicated to warehouse management software, data analysis, and strategic technology advancement. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Digital Media from Albright College, coupled with further studies in Microprocessor Programming and Network Systems at Reutlingen University in Germany, Alex’s deep expertise in enterprise software development is not just foundational but transformational for Westfalia’s operations, driving significant enhancements in efficiency and competitive advantage.
Chelsea Kessler is the Director of People Operations at Westfalia Technologies, Inc. Joining the company in 2014, Chelsea has advanced through various roles, showcasing her expertise in human resources, operations, and organizational leadership. In her current role, she oversees HR, safety, and office administration functions, driving strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility and employee engagement. Chelsea holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Penn State World Campus, along with a double Associate’s in Business Administration and Labor and Employment Relations. She is a certified PHR and SHRM-CSP professional, committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband and children, and is actively involved in professional organizations, as well as community service where she aids in supporting and empowering other working mothers.
